  • Finance some of the cost of specialized dental treatments for cancer patients.
  • With some of the cost of physiotherapy treatments for cancer patients.
  • With some of the costs of medical supplies and dressings for cancer patients.
  • With some of the cost of special chemotherapy and prescription drugs.
  • With some of the cost of lab tests or scans not covered by insurance.
  • With the balance of the cost of a prosthesis not covered by the ADP Program.
  • With some of the cost of nutritional supplements for cancer patients.
  • With some of the cost of purchasing or rental of equipment.
  • Monthly men's support group - 2nd Tuesday of the month - contact 705-628-8800 for information.

All patients/families must meet with a Community Cancer Care volunteer in the office or by telephone prior to receiving assistance.

Because of the large volume of patients receiving assistance, CCC has had to operate within a restricted budget and caps have had to be placed on all services.

Established in 2000 by Lesley Simms and Marg Arthur to help people in the community who have had a cancer diagnosis. All donations remain in the community and it has no affiliation with the Canadian Cancer Society.
